A planned 3-Day weekend

She told me that she would be taking Friday and Monday off. I looked at my scheduled activities over the weekend and decided to take Monday off as well to recover.

The weekend started with a funny round of golf, (9-holes @ Bukit Utama). Many lost balls later, the German and I ended up back at the club house a little over 2 hours from when we started. Being on the course with Ze German and his one liners was totally hilarious. Highlight of the round for me was the bogey I had on the signature hole of the course, the elevated Par 3 on the 7th hole.

After a quick lunch at Kota Damansara, I proceeded to the bike shop to collect my race plate for the Presidential Bike Ride (65KM) that I had signed up for on Sunday.

Whilst making my way home after collecting the race plate, I stopped by at KSH to make sure that a certain baker's bicycle got the attention it deserved.

A short rest at home and it was off to pick the significant other up for a dinner engagement at Pasir Penambang with another bunch of friends. The food served left a lot to be desired with more hits than misses, due in no small part to the commercialization of the area.

One thing good came out from the commercialization though, the toilets have been upgraded!

*winks*

After dropping her off and watching Tony Martin's clock the fastest time of the penultimate stage of the Tour De France, I rushed home to catch Cadel Evans square off with the Schleck brothers for Yellow Jersey honours. Cadel Evans not only won the time trial, he took back close to 2 minutes on both the Schleck brothers to ride into Paris with the Maillot Jaune on his shoulders! A truly deserved victory for Cadel. He was so emotional on the podium. Just goes to show how much the win meant to him ;)

I also seem to have created a new fan of the Grandest of the Grand tours in her. She seems to be well and truly smitten by the cycling bug. Heheheh....

Caught roughly about 6 hours of sleep that night. Lucky I had packed the bike on the car and organised all my stuff into small, transportable boxes the night before, for I had to make a pit stop to re-fuel the ride before meeting up with the bikers at Devi's in TTDI at 6.00AM.

We started the ride at about 10 minutes to 8:00am from the University of Nottingham Campus. 6.5 Hours, 5000 calories burned and close to 72 KM's on the saddle later, I pulled up to the campus grounds with Terence by my side. Couldn't have completed the ride without you bro.

Called it an early night and woke up the next day to get our Identification Cards changed at Putrajaya. Wedding Registrations can be done on the 1st floor of the complex, for those of you who are wondering ;) ROFL!

After a BKT brunch at Subang Jaya, we spent most of our day off shopping at Sungei Wang Plaza. Thankfully, her search for dresses for the events she has to attend for the rest of the year has ended.

A truly eventful weekend indeed, if I may so so myself ;)
