My car got keyed last night. It's very clear that it's done on purpose. 3 doors. All of them except the drivers door. Presumably so I wouldn't notice.
*sigh*
Got the management of the building to check the CCTV tapes. Real FML moment when the residence manager said they ran out of tape and it was not recorded. Conspiracy theories abound when I related the whole incident to the person in charge of my office Administration. She said that it's a normal excuse given by building management when CCTV tapes are asked to be reviewed. She even went as far as implying, "Was there some footage caught on tape that cannot be brought to light?"
Heh.
Generally, I tend to see the good in people. I trust the Residence Manager. I hear what my colleague had to say. All in all I must say that I must have stepped on someones toes. Either that or it's karma coming back to haunt me. In any case I am going to my happy place now.
To whoever keyed my car, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your nether regions and may your arms be too short to scratch the itch.
Got to give it to the person who keyed the car, it's really deep on one of the doors and you can see the base layer of the paint. After spending a mini fortune on getting the ding on the side and my cracked windscreen fixed, looks like I have to fork out money to repair the keyed panels of my car door's as well.
Residence Manager is concerned as this is the first reported case of it happening in his property. He was kind enough to ask me to park on the level where his staff park their cars. Not sure how well this will sit with the manager of the car park as it's being run by a separate operator. I just asked him to ensure that the tapes never run out.
Bummer.

Oh boy, unlucky you... the 'out of tape' reason sounds rather typical... wonder what is the point of having the camera without making sure the whole thing works... for me, it is like having an SLR on hand without the memory card... duh...
no worries bro.. karma's a bitch! whoever did that to your car would have his/her 10x damage!
Sometimes I just don't understand why those pricks love doing this? Maybe like you, I am just tend to see the good side of ppl... my wife had warned me about this before. I just don't know whether it's my strength or weakness now :P
I totally gotta remember your "thousand camels" curse. We had our car door (just the one, but still) keyed months ago, so I know how you feel.
Bastards. Camels and what not.
